Chantilly on the Green Development

Chantilly on the Green, the first ever townhome development in historic Chantilly, will break ground this month — you should see the project really start taking shape by the end of the summer.

Chantilly on the Green will consist of 27 townhomes and six single-family houses.

The townhomes will have two or three bedrooms and will be between 1,300 and 2,000 square feet. Each townhome will have a rooftop terrace, two-car garage and patios. Introductory pricing will be in high $300,000 to high $500,000 range.

The houses will be around 3,000 square feet “with architecture designed to complement existing homes within the neighborhood,” according to selling agent TJ Larsen (owner of My Townhome Realty). These single family homes will be around $850,000.

Cluck Design Collaborative is the project’s architect.

Neighborhood design: Chantilly on the Green is on Shenandoah Avenue, near the Chantilly Ecological Sanctuary. The neighborhood is also going to include land “for creek-side open space, walking trails, a community fire pit, gazebo and reading meadow,” Larsen said.

Timeline: The developer, Goode Properties, will break ground in June, and by August you should see construction of the homes really start to take shape. The hope is to have it done by late 2020.

Grand reveal event:  More details are going to be released at event on June 25. The event is from 5-6:30 p.m. at Resident Culture. Renderings courtesy of TJ Larsen at My Townhome Realty.

Sales: Pre-sales start June 29, and Larsen will be taking the lead. He says the project has already generated interest from potential buyers.
