More exciting SouthEnd retail development is in the works. A former business located at 3601 South Boulevard will be transformed into to make way for more great retail in the booming SouthEnd neighborhood. Once complete the project will also bring restaurants and medical suites. The area development that has been extending historic SouthEnd is morphing into a new neighborhood named LoSo.
The building, completed in 1950, was formerly used as a tire shop, toy store and hardware. The business location and has been a long-standing venue on South Boulevard near Colonial Village & Sedgefield.
You can expect to see a complete facelift of the old building including a gloss storefront and modern facade. The developer plans to embrace the 6,500 square foot building’s current architecture while creating while adding a vibrant look.
Ascent Real Estate Partners also bought and renovated the neighboring shopping center in 2016. The shopping center currently houses Ski Country Sports, GW Boutique and Seoul Poke Bowl.
